Sixteen Cumberland Valley students took part in the PMEA District 7 Chorus Festival at Central York High School, directed by Dr. Kimberly Dunn Adams from West Chester University. After two days of rehearsals, the festival concluded with a stunning concert on Saturday afternoon.
During the festival, students auditioned for the PMEA Regional Chorus. Eleven Cumberland Valley students— the highest number during Mr. Griffith’s tenure as CVHS Choir Director—earned spots in the PMEA Region 5 Chorus Festival: Madi Potteiger, Himani Pendse, Natalie Deschane, Brielle Kolts, Syd Bevenour, Josh Huntington, Charlie Bell, Matthew Treadwell, Brent Gaspich, Joel Underkoffler, and Kellen Lichty. This festival will be held in late March at Bethlehem Area School District.
These students are also eligible to audition for the prestigious PMEA All-State Festival. Congratulations to these outstanding musicians on their well-deserved success—We are #CVProud of them.
