Welcome to Cumberland Valley High School

Cumberland Valley High School (CVHS) is a public high school located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Established in 1954, CVHS serves the townships of Middlesex, Monroe, Silver Spring, and Hampden in Cumberland County. It is part of the Cumberland Valley School District and serves students in grades 9 through 12. The high school is separated into two campuses: The 9th Grade Academy (CV9) and the Main Campus (CV10-12). Over 3,000 students are enrolled in grades 9-12 at Cumberland Valley High School.

Known for its rigorous academic programs, CVHS offers a wide range of courses and has a history of high student performance on standardized tests. The school emphasizes a holistic approach to education, promoting excellence in academics, arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. CVHS has a diverse array of clubs and organizations catering to various interests, from academic clubs to creative pursuits such as drama, music, and visual arts. The campus features modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, science labs, a library, athletic fields, gymnasiums, a pool, and a Performing Arts Center. CVHS hosts many local and state athletic events at its state-of-the-art football stadium.
