By the end of 11th grade every CV student must take a Keystone exam in Literature, Biology, and Algebra. Proficient or higher scores on these tests, fulfill the mandated graduation requirement of PA Act 158.

Students currently taking an Advanced Placement (AP) class are offered the opportunity to take the exam that will reflect proficiency. 

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude test that measures a young adult's strengths and potential for success in the military. It's used to determine eligibility for enlistment and job training, and can also help predict future academic and occupational success. Taking this test does not require you to do anything more with the military.
