Senior Portrait/Picture Information
Seniors are required to have a formal senior portrait taken by Camera Box to be published in the 2022 Argus.  Parents are welcome to use other photographers for their personal pictures but must use Camera Box for yearbook portraits in order to maintain quality and a consistent look throughout the senior section of the yearbook. Portraits from other photographers will not be accepted

What to do now? You can schedule online at camerabox.com/cv for all portraits taken at CVHS on the dates listed below. If you wish to schedule an appointment at the Camera Box studio in Camp Hill, call (717)761-2017. Appointment dates/times fill fast. Do not wait, schedule now.

Will portraits be taken at CVHS? Appointments must be scheduled if you wish to have your picture taken at CVHS. The Camera Box will be at CVHS in the LGI (next to HS Office) on the following dates:

  • June 26
  • July 24, 25, 26, 27
  • August 7, 8, 9 10
  • September 13 (This is the last opportunity to have your senior portrait taken at CV)

Can I schedule another date/time?  Yes. If the dates listed above do not work, you are welcome to schedule a sitting at Camera Box anytime prior to September 1. Schedule now, late summer appointments fill up fast.

What is the sitting fee for the yearbook portrait? The basic sitting fee consists of head and shoulder poses in one outfit is $30.00.

What if students can not afford the sitting fee?
 Students who can not afford the sitting fee are asked to apply for a scholarship (Class of 2024 Senior Portrait Scholarship Formthree weeks prior to their scheduled picture date.  Please contact Mr. Gregg Lucas, Argus Adviser at (717)506-3514 if additional information is needed.

What should seniors wear? Senior portraits for the yearbook are formal.  Camera Box will be able to advise students and parents on our requirements for the yearbook.  Camera Box will be able to safely supply drapes for females, and recommends that males be photographed in their own sport coat, shirt, and tie. A limited number of sport coats are available to borrow for the sitting from Camera Box if necessary, however, Camera Box cannot provide dress shirts for male students due to COVID-19. How do I submit my portrait to Argus? After your senior participates in a sitting and a pose is selected, Camera Box will automatically forward your picture to the Argus staff.

Can I order prints for friends and family? Yes. The Camera Box will provide information on packages and pricing. If you wish to have Camera Box take casual or outdoor photos, please refer to camerabox.com/cv for more information.
