Commencement is scheduled for June 1, 2024 at 10:00 am at Giant Center in Hershey PA. Doors open at 8 am. No tickets are needed. Seating is first come, first served.
GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS
Josten's has graduation announcements for sale. Announcements ordered before the end of December are shipped to the high school in early spring and sent home with your student ASAP. Orders placed after the new year, are typically shipped directly to your home.
ORDERING YOUR CAP AND GOWN
If you plan to participate in Commencement and have not yet ordered a cap and gown, please do so on the
Josten's website. Everyone participating in our Commencement ceremony must wear a Josten's gown. If you plan to borrow a gown from someone who was the Class of 2023 or earlier, the gown will not match and you will not be able to participate in the ceremony. Commencement Regalia prices increase as we approach Commencement Day. The least expensive prices occur before Halloween and after that, the prices increase a little each month.
Online ordering closed Jan 31. Anyone who plans to participate in Commencement, but did not order a cap and gown, will be able to buy a custom gown directly from the Josten's representative at CVHS on May 24. The price is considerably higher, and each transaction on that day is cash only.
DIPLOMA NAME CONFIRMATION
All seniors must complete this form in January to confirm the correct spelling of your name on your diploma. Anyone who does not complete this form and orders a different spelling in June, will incur the costs associated with the reprint.
REGALIA DISTRIBUTION
Seniors who have cleared their obligations will be able to pick up their caps and gowns from the learning commons on May 23 and 24. Students who need to purchase a cap and gown will be able to purchase one from our Jostens representative from May 24 from 9am -11am.
COMMENCEMENT PRACTICE
May 28 in the PAC during the morning. More details to follow. There will be a practice at Giant Center, but that time and date are not yet confirmed.
FLOWER ORDERS
The Commencement Group will be selling flowers and other commemorative items that you can
order now from their website and pick up at Giant Center before the ceremony.
PHOTOGRAPH ORDERS
The Camera Box will be present before and during the ceremony to capture candid shots and photograph each student with their diploma cover.
