EAGLE EMPORIUM NOW OPEN
The student store is now open for business during Nest A/B. Students can see their study hall teacher during nest for a pass to visit the Eagle Emporium located across from the high school office. We are fully stocked with official Eagle's merchandise and along with snacks. Faculty and staff who are covering nest study halls should check Dr. Malinoski's Weekly Update for more information. EAGLE NEST CAFE IS NOW OPEN
Headed to the library? Hungry? Thirsty? If you answered YES to any of these questions, we have good news for you! The Eagle Nest Cafe' is now serving snacks as well as hot and cold beverages to students who are signed into the library. We are open period 2, 3, 4, and 5. NO Cash is accepted, you must use your student cafeteria account to purchase items. (9/17)

CV PAD PROJECT
Introduction to Pad Project Video: The CV Pad Project is holding a Pad and Tampon drive for a local middle school the 13th- 27th, anyone can participate and donate even if not in the club. The boxes to drop off donations will be outside of Mrs Leitzells room. (9/20)

JOIN SPIKEBALL CLUB
Do you love to play Spikeball? If so, sign up for the CV Spikeball club. All skill levels are welcome, whether you've never played before or consider yourself an expert. COSTA RICA TRIP

5K FOR FREEDOM
The annual 5K for freedom benefiting Sarah's House of Hope is back! If you would like to walk or run to raise awareness and funds for the dangers of substance misuse and abuse, this 5K is for you! If interested, sign up at http://www.sarashouseofhope.org/5k-for-freedom/ , or scan the QR code on the tv or on one of the posters around the school.
The registration fee is $25 if you sign up by September 25th and you will receive a FREE Break the Silence t-shirt! Any sign-ups after September 25th have a registration fee of $35 and have the option to purchase a t-shirt for $5.50.
The 5K will take place at ADVENTURE PARK from 9:30-11:30 on October 16th! Snacks and drinks will be provided! The rain date is October 23. The top 3 male and female finishers in each of the 3 age categories will receive medals! Register today to raise awareness for substance abuse! See you there! (9/24)

BREAK THE SILENCE MEETING
Attention students interested in addressing the substance abuse epidemic! Break the Silence is calling all students who are interested in learning about this important issue and want to begin to take action to solve this problem! We will have speakers, a 5K for freedom benefiting Sarah's House of Hope (register at ttp://www.sarashouseofhope.org/5k-for-freedom/), opportunities to join SADD, (Students Against Destructive Decisions), and more! Our first meeting will be on Friday, September 24th at 3:30 in room 243! We hope to see you at our first meeting on September 24th. TSA INTEREST MEETING
Are you a student interested in science, technology, engineering, or math? Are you looking for opportunities for both leadership and competition? Then TSA is for you!
The Technology Student Association is a competitive technology and engineering organization for anyone interested in STEM. Events range from Digital Photography to designing dragsters to programming video games. Join us for our interest meeting on September 28th or 29th, in room 136. BREAK THE SILENCE 5K

SOFTBALL OPEN FIELDS
Softball open fields will begin on Tuesday, September 7th. They will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-6:30 at the CVHS softball field. Please meet at the batting cage between the softball and baseball fields and avoid the dugout while the field is under construction. Players should bring all of their equipment and their own water.
Interested and returning players should reach out to Coach Gregg Williams via Schoology to be added to the Schoology course for announcements and updates. (10/29)

Student ID
Remember to have your Student ID visible at all times while on campus. If you do not have a lanyard or need a replacement, they are available in your grade level office.
