is a freshman at CV. He attended Rice Elementary School and Yellow Breeches Middle School. He enjoys hunting, fishing, snowboarding, listening to music, lifting, and of course playing baseball. After high school Gerald plans to attend college and play baseball. He is most inspired by Mr. Bortner. He thinks his class is interesting and he enjoys having him as a teacher. Gerald just moved here from Boiling Springs and appreciates the CV atmosphere.

Kara Lehman
Grade 9

is a freshman at CV. She plays on the volleyball team here at the high school. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. After high school, Kara plans to attend college and play volleyball. She has not yet chosen what major she would be most interested in. She is most inspired by Miss Zarli, the middle school basketball coach and student council leader.

Alexis Forsyth
Grade 10

is a sophomore at CV. She attended Green Ridge Elementary School and Eagle View Middle School. Alexis participates in water polo, club swimming, THON, mock trial, Model UN, German Club, the Red Cross Club, and student council. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs and reading. After high school, Alexis plans to attend the United States Naval Academy and has an interest in economics and law. She would like to thank her parents for inspiring her through their tenacity and service to others.

Hayden Heisner
Grade 10

Hayden 
is a sophomore at CV. He attended Monroe Elementary School and Eagle View Middle School. Hayden is a member of the football team here at CV. In his spare time, he enjoys editing photos and videos. After high school, Hayden plans to attend college and pursue a degree in criminal justice. He is most inspired by his third grade teacher Mrs. Simpson, she is the one that taught him to be kind to others.

Leah Frazier
Grade 11

is a junior at CV. She attended Shaull Elementary School and Good Hope Middle School. Leah is a member of the girls’ soccer team, spring track, Mini-THON, and the German club. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports and hanging out with family and friends. After high school, she plans to attend college. She is most inspired by her dad because he is a very hardworking person and is full of great advice.

Garrett Greenwood
Grade 11

Greenwood

Garrett
is a junior at CV. He attended Freedom Elementary School and Lackland Elementary School before attending Lake Braddock Secondary School. Garrett participates in the Patriots Club, FCA, ITO, JROTC, and cross country. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, hanging out with his friends, playing basketball with his sister, and watching movies and shows. After high school, Garrett plans to attend the United States Air Force Academy and become a fighter pilot in the Air Force. He would like to thank his chemistry teacher, Mrs. Lukow, who was not only his favorite teacher but, a good friend. She helped him get a through a really tough year both personally and academically. 

Abby George
Grade 12

Abby 
is a senior at CV. She attended Liberty Elementary School and Hampden Elementary School before attending Good Hope Middle School. Abby is a member of the high school softball team as well as Central PA Outlaws Softball and also participates in Odyssey of the Mind. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, baking, and going outside. After high school Abby plans to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for architecture. She would like to thank her dad for all of his support and encouragement. He taught her to never give up on anything.
