About Mrs. Miller

Mrs. Amy Miller joined the Cumberland Valley family in 2014 and has enjoyed over two decades of experience in education.  A graduate of Penn State University, Mrs. Miller holds a B.S. in Secondary Education (Social Studies) and a M.A. in American Studies.  She completed her principal certification through Shippensburg University in 2019 and accepted a position as Assistant Principal at Cumberland Valley High School in August 2020.

Mrs. Miller has taught grades 8-12, and her course experience includes US History, IB History, IB Theory of Knowledge, World History, Geography, and college-level American Studies.  Prior to Cumberland Valley, she taught at Lower Dauphin High School and Harrisburg Academy.  In 2016, she was named IB Diploma Program Coordinator at CVHS, a role she continues to hold.  

Mrs. Miller proudly resides in Cumberland Valley School District with her husband and daughter.  In her free time, she enjoys reading and running.  

She is excited to begin her journey with the Class of 2024!
