Traffic pattern changes at CV High School for parents who drop off/pick up students in the morning/afternoon will remain for the 2017-18 school year

Cumberland Valley High School traffic patterns for morning and afternoon student drop-off/pick-up have changed and will remain constant for the 2017-18 school year.

Parents who are dropping off and picking up students at the high school between the hours of 7-8 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m are the only people impacted by the existing traffic pattern.

The new traffic patterns were implemented to:

  • better ensure safety of our students and visitors.
  • alleviate traffic congestion during peak hours.
  • bypass construction operations that will begin this spring at the high school.

Parents are directed to utilize the Dapp Road entrance (beside the football field), follow the signage, and drop off students to the rear of the High School. Parents will then exit campus either via Dapp Road or by traveling around the high school to the stoplight at the main entrance. Afternoon pickup will follow the same route.

Please note: Parents picking up or dropping off students at times other than between 7-8 a.m. or 2:30-3:30 p.m. may utilize any of the High School parking lots to do so.

This information was previously shared with students via CVTV and via hardcopy flyers to parents who currently drop off/pick up students.
