The Cumberland Valley School District is asking for your participation in two surveys in order to gain valuable information about perceptions on school culture and climate, and access to technology. During a Nest period, study hall, or a free period within the next seven school days, please complete these two surveys posted in Schoology as your participation plays an integral part in our district's strategic planning moving forward. 10/22

Attention all students! Beginning THIS WEEK, you will have the opportunity to visit the Library during your NEST period. In order to visit the Library from NEST, you must stop by the Library to check out a pass BEFORE the beginning of 4th period. See our front desk for details and assistance. 10/22

Interested in the the environment & competition? Well Envirothon is the club for you! Envirothon is a team competition with 5 topics: Soils, Forestry, Aquatics, Wildlife and Current Event. Our initial meeting to learn about this club will be Tuesday, October 26 in room 102. 10/22

Attention all students! New student ID cards have been distributed. ID cards are now required for access to the Library, and are the preferred method of attendance in many other locations. Please remember to bring your ID card (any CV school year will work!) with you every day. If you didn't get photos taken this year, please remember Picture Make-up Day so you can get an updated ID! 10/22

Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is sponsoring a Career Fair on October 22 from 2 PM - 6 PM and October 23 from 11 AM - 3 PM on site at 1000 Claremont Road, Carlisle, PA. Positions include CNA, Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry and more. Interviews being conducted on site both days. (10/23)

Attention students currently taking Year 4 or higher of a World Language: Students interested in applying for NEW membership to the National World Language Honor Society should complete the membership application via Google form provided by your current language teacher by October 31st at 3:00 pm. Softball open fields will begin on Tuesday, September 7th. They will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-6:30 at the CVHS softball field. Please meet at the batting cage between the softball and baseball fields and avoid the dugout while the field is under construction. Players should bring all of their equipment and their own water.
Interested and returning players should reach out to Coach Gregg Williams via Schoology to be added to the Schoology course for announcements and updates. (10/29)

Are you interested in current events? Do you want to become more politically involved? The Young Democrats of CV is a club for ALL students interested in progressive discourse and canvassing. Meetings would address relevant political issues and students would focus on spreading awareness of important political subjects. Students from all political orientations are welcome. *The Club meets Tuesdays from 3 to 3:30 in Mrs. Dierwechter's room in the senior wing.
