Procedures and Expectations

Behavior:

All school rules apply during summer school.  Violation of school rules will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may result in dismissal from the summer school program.  If a student is dismissed, they will not be refunded their tuition.

High School Schedule:

Session 1 - 8:00 AM - 9:55 AM

Session 2 - 10:00 AM - 11:55 AM

Middle School Schedule:

Session 1 - 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Session 2 - 9:20 AM - 10:35 AM
Session 3 - 10:40 AM - 11:55 AM

Parking:

Students who drive will park in the main office parking lot and enter through the main entrance to the high school.  Bicycles and cars should be kept locked at all times. Parking is prohibited in any other area of school district property. Violations of this policy will be grounds for dismissal from the program.

Refunds:

If a student registers for summer school but chooses not to attend, a 100% refund will be given after the second day of summer school.  If the student attends the first day of summer school but then does not attend the second day and beyond, a 50% refund will be given.  No other refunds will be given for students who do not attend summer school.  Students who are dismissed from summer school because of lack of attendance or disciplinary issues will not receive a refund of their summer school tuition.

Scheduling/Cancellation of Courses

Scheduling/cancellation of courses will be dependent upon the number of students enrolled in a specific course or time slot. Preference will be given for students taking more than one class. Every effort will be made to offer the courses listed. Summer school administration will be responsible for the necessary changes in student scheduling. Students and parents will be contacted during the week of June 7, 2021 with confirmation of enrollment and course meeting times.
